Community CPR

Would you like to learn CPR? Perhaps you took CPR before but just want to brush up on your skills? "Family and Friends CPR", a program developed by the American Heart Association, is available for members of the Ridgeview fire protection area who would like to learn CPR but do not need a course completion card. As members of the Ridgeview County community this course is available to you free of charge and is taught by firefighters and EMTs of the Ridgeview Fire Department.

The course is expected to last 2 to 2.5 hours. It covers adult and child CPR, adult and child choking, and has an optional infant CPR unit. There is no written or skills test associated with this course.

We will be offering the following course free of charge soon. To sign up, email ridgeviewfire@gmail.com.
